Minutes 1774-80, p.19, 28 September 1776, the Court being informed that Jackson Allen of this County has s___ __ of his Negroes free, ordered that he be summoned to appear at the next court to shew cause why they should ot be sold according to an act of assembly in that case made and provided.

Orders 1781-4, p.215, 26 June 1783, Charles Burns, executor of the will of Barbara Zagan emancipates a Negro man Dick.
